The Gilded Lily Literary Society is to promote the love of reading, good food and friendship. Our next selection will be Age of Innocence, by Edith Wharton. The story is set in the 1920s, during the "Gilded Age" of New York City. This was Wharton's twelfth novel and it won a 1921 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
